Luzerne County Community College through a nationwide network of more than 300 institutions of higher education and affiliated retirement groups, provides quality educational tours for older adults which span the globe. Learning vacations for adults allows you to learn firsthand about the history, art, culture and customs of the country visited. Each trip to 17 different destinations is a carefully planned "classroom-in-the-field" experience. On-site lectures, seminars and field experiences provided by faculty escorts and in-country specialists together with "people-to-people" contact foster an insight and understanding of foreign cultures not available on more conventional tours.

Programs include trips to: Australia, Central Europe, China, Egypt, Galapagos Islands & Ecuador, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Kenya, Morocco, Peru, Spain and Turkey. These learning vacations for adults range from $2,000 to $5,000. Accommodations are first class, meals are included, and groups are small so you get individualized attention and make friends. TraveLearn groups average 14 participants with some groups as small as 8 members and never more than 20, allowing for a close interaction between participants and guides.
