Career Training - Security Guard

Lethal Weapons Training (Pa Act 235 – Security Guard) This course is designed for any person who is interested in becoming a security guard, night watchperson or private investigator. This 40-hour program at Luzerne County Community College is approved by the Pennsylvania State Police. Applications must be obtained from the PA State Police site (www.lethalweapons.state.pa.us) and submitted to Hershey. Click on the Forms link and the Lethal Weapons link. Then select and print out the forms for the application, the physical and the psychological exam. Applicants must meet certain requirements for acceptance into the program. Once a certificate of eligibility is received from the state, application can be made for this training program.
